This is a great example of a beautiful black and whit image. The dark and out of focus hills in the background, make the light and airy flowers in the foreground visible and stand out. I also like that the photographer has chosen portrait format to capture this situation. It works very well.

shot on the way of st james in the pyrenees between orisson and roncesvalles. strong vignette because of the orange and nd filters (and f1.4). unfortunately its a crop because of the way i scanned the neg (approx 90%). thank you for the mark of excellence! marc gerber
