Mario Cea: This image was taken in Salamanca, Spain on a cold winter night when this genet toured its hunting territory.
The image has a great work of enlightenment since flashes were used to illuminate the animal and afterwards during a long exposition it was finished illuminating the scene with the natural light of the moon.
In order to capture in a one only image, the genet, the moon and the stars, it was necessary to work with a single shot of about 50 seconds of exposure, which made the work even more complicated.
Also two different color temperatures were used, 2800ºk in camera to get that the sky was seen with blue tones and a second one in the flashes to which they were put to them gels of color of about 7500ºk to compensate and that the animal had its natural tone.
This image have not post processing and is a only Raw.
