What an amazing capture! The depth of shadows and the great highlights allow for these kittens to truly stand out (or rather jump out!) of their landscape. The action captured here is truly fabulous, and the choice to convert to black-and-white allows the subjects to stand out more. I would suggest just a little bit of photoshop work to clone out some of the distracting background like the rod in the distance and whatever is behind the tabby/white cat in the grass, so that the two kittens really pop out of their setting.
