From my side you have shot the best photo of this child-comeptition and one of the best portraits of a child that I have ever seen. Congratulations to the photographer of this wonderful image! A portrait of a boy that is so natural in the way he looks, the light situation, the simple monochrom background.....all is simple but so effective! His eyes are perfectly in focus, you can even see the reflection of the photographer. His expression is so serious and it touches deeply. I could write essay only about his facial expression. I'm Sohail Karmani, from London and currently based in the United Arab Emirates. The photo was taken in a slum of Sahiwal, a city in Eastern Central Punjab in Pakistan. It was taken with an Olympus OMD EM1 and Panasonic Leica 42.5mm f/1.2 DG Nocticron. It was processed in Adobe Camera Raw.
