I am Michael Attrill, an amateur photographer from Battle in East Sussex, UK. Disappointed to miss out on winning my dream camera of course but nevertheless delighted to have been awarded a mark of excellence when the overall quality of images entered was so high. This photograph was a chance moment. I saw the scene whilst travelling in my car. I stopped as soon as I could and rushed back to grab the shot. It was taken on FP4 with my Pentax MX plus wide-angle lens and processed through Lightroom 4. Thanks to Thorsten and Birgit for their encouraging comments.
