  • Blowing in the wind .. The I-Shot-It team loves this capture, what lightness it brings. Abstract, yet descriptive, both of these worlds being captured. The hues are delicate, yet bold. Congratulates the winner for this I Shot It NOW! photo competition!

  • Many Thanks to the Jury and the I SHOT IT TEAM for choosing my photo for the first prize, this is highly appreciated! This image was taken at "Hallig Hooge" a small island in North Sea (Northern Germany) by me with my Sony Alpha 6000 camera model (Traveller E-Mount Objective, Tamron 18-200 mm). Recently I am much into icm-photography. This laundry, playfully and elegantly moved by the wind (creating very interesting shapes) was very welcome for my intention to capture the local atmosphere of the rural island in the middle of the North Sea with an often stormy weather. Best Regards, Doris Benkwitz

  • These eyes are piercing, targeting the observer’s soul. This tight crop works well, and showing this image in black and white takes away any distractions which colour could introduce. A well balanced and executed image.

  • I Shot It now is the perfect perception, looking at this image. Shooting in low light and getting timing and exposure right is an art. The photographer of this image did well, on all fronts.

  • What makes this a great photograph? It is not one element, it is multiple. The jumping kid in between boat and water elevates this photo. Having the boats surrounded by water, not zoomed in any tighter as is, gives it good context. Also colour and movement of the fishing net. Thanks for such beautiful submission!

  • A young ranger in the making! There is a beautiful meaning to this capture, this young person looking far. May good things come his way, may he go far. Colour and composititon are great in this photo.

  • Being able to observe reflections and making good of of them as layers is a skill. This photographer managed this skill well. There is a depth to this photo which creates uniqueness.

  • A deep thank you to the jury and the I-shot-it-team! Title: "Thank You" This pic was taken at Flensburg Europe-University, Northern Germany, during the first pandemic lockdown in 2020. I found the picture of all that empty chairs inside, "covered" by the mirrored "Thank you" (in German: "Danke") of an outside sculpture at campus quite "story-telling". I just added slightly more contrast to the pic afterwards.

  • Relaxing with a bit of humour, this comes to mind when indulging in the image. It creates a dreamy atmosphere. Now the observers wonders if the photographer was in a hammock as well, when this photo was taken?

  • Composition, combined with great skills of seeing light, and patience sum up this photo. It is important to have empty space in this image, this balances out the busy part of the buzzing bees.
