Now, this is a beautiful photo. Something a painter would be proud of. But then it is also a big city with just two people on the bridge, and we get the feeling of them being alone in the world to experience this great view. Certainly a photo that makes you think. Or alternatively, you just decide it is a pretty photo.

This bridge is the "Pont de l'Archevêché" in Paris, near to Notre-Dame. I took this picture on a Sunday early-morning beginning of February, that's why there are so few people...I used my Leica Q, with slight post processing in Capture One Pro. Thanks again!

Thank you for selecting my photo as a mark of excellence, captured in a remote village in the Himalayas in India. The girl is Asha, playing in her school's garden. the village is very remote and needs to walk 2 days through dense forest to reach there.

Tammy Swarek, El Dorado, AR. Canon 5D Mark IV I've tried many times over the last year to get rid of my mom's clothes that she will never wear again (due to advanced Alzheimer's disease). Hospital gowns have taken the place of her favorite girly dresses and sparkling tops. I couldn't bear the thought of throwing them away. I needed to find a way to let them go, so I imagined what she would do. I decided to cut them up and make something for Grace. I'm sure Mom would appreciate the sentiment, as will Grace when she's old enough to understand it. The dress is made entirely of fabric from Mom’s clothes and I used the sewing tools from her basket. I chose to make something historical because Grace is literally wearing her history; part of her DNA is embedded in the fabric. Some people believe that possessions can contain a piece of the spirit of the person who loved them. I'm not sure if that's true, but I'm going to believe it.
