- Playful, yet very clever and artistic. This image got it all, and it is a true highlight in this flower competition. The lighting is superb, and showing this capture in black & white works well. The subject being slightly off centered creates some good tension, and the big white butterfly (or moths) becomes our main character in this image. Congratulations to the photographer and winner of the I-Shot-It Flower competition, of such wonderful photograph!

- Oh, I'm so happy. Thank you very much for your words. The picture was taken in the deep September sun. My thoughts were: Can I photograph poetry? It was such a wonderful and unique mood that I wanted to reflect in the photo. Kind regards, Katja

- A bit different, going in the direction of Pop-Art. It is recognizable as the flower, but dramatically changed from its original appearance. A creative transition, which was well executed.

- The angle chosen to capture this flower, shooting from below, works well. Lush levels of green, a glimpse of the sky, and well composed, makes this a well balanced image.

- If we would not know that this is part of a flower, chances are that we would not recognize this as such. The crop is perfect, only giving away a little, of what seems to be a rich in colour, and beautiful flower.

- Not often do the judges of this flower competition come across a photo, taken with a fisheye lens. We see a touch of humor in this image, having a tree centered in the background, as well a a dandelion flower centered in the front of the photo.

- This is quite a theatric image, only a little light being casted on the delicate flower, while the rest of the photo is more in darkness. It is well composed and executed.

- A lively composed image, with a different approach. It is not clear to the observer, if post-production creates this appearance, or was it photographed as such? We like the photo, in whatever way it was created.

- A perfect capture of a field of poppies. Bold colours and great composition. A truly delightful image this is.

- This photograph captures a different side of life, the side of decay. Colours are slightly desaturated, and more integrated with the ground. Giving back to nature is, what comes to mind.
