  • What a fantastic silhouette image of a stunning horse. Based on its outline, head and tail, I imagine he is a Friesian? The low angle of this image elevates him even more, giving his alert stance one of pride and strength. The only distracting element in this image is the light grass in the left corner foreground; it pulls the viewer's eye out of the frame and away from the incredible subject. I would darken this to make it work as part of the silhouette. But an absolutely beautiful capture. Nicely done, and congrats!

  • This is a lovely silhouette image ... the capture of the horse's gallop along the top of the hill, framed by the trees, makes for a stunning and impactful image. Beautifully captured and managed in post.

  • This is a great image ... the beautiful bokeh in the background provides a rich, but subtle backdrop for this beautiful horse. The gleam of his coat and the line of the horse's neck leading down to the forelock is absolutely stunning. Beautifully captured and framed. Nicely done!

  • There is a lovely intimacy in this image. As the viewer, we feel like we are standing at this horse's flank and moving with it. The deep, rich red of his coat, and the glimmer of the sun on the mane and neck, draw us in. The curve of the horse's neck works beautifully with the path that curves into the distance. I almost wonder that this image would be even stronger if the cattle and the distant barn could be edited out so that the landscape was simpler, allowing the lovely color and lines of this horse to stand out even more. Nicely done.

  • This is such an immediately wonderful image ... the rich tones, the stunning contrast of the horse's red and white against the deep greens, and the perfect low angle at the waterline ... absolutely beautiful. I might suggest that the framing be adjusted a little to allow a little more space to the left and upper part of the image, easing the tension created by the horse's head so close to the right frame. But nicely done.

  • What a beautiful capture of this galloping horse in the early morning (late afternoon) sun. The pollen and dust motes floating in the flare, and the gorgeous rim light on the horse's head and mane, make this a standout photo. Nicely captured and managed in post.
