  • This skillfully executed black & white photograph stands out and is the winner of this I-Shot-It Child Photo Competition! Composition, tonality, as well as a spontaneous moment frozen in time, all of these elements work together and create a superb photograph. The expression of this young lady is truly priceless!

  • The sensible eye of the photographer for colour, texture and composition make this a lovely image. We wonder if this little boy has any awareness of being watched by the puppy from above.

  • That girl’s laugh is truly priceless. And it is contagious as well, making me, the judge of this competition, smile as I am putting text to this photo ;) Beautiful black and white execution and superb expression of this child.

  • Here we can hear the silence of the photo, whatever this young man is listening to is not visible to us. The boy is sitting still, we can not detect any movements of his body. Showing this photo in black and white underlines this mood, since we are not getting distracted by coulours.

  • We barely can see this little person, mostly being hidden behind this red curtain. But we do see just enough to identify that this is a young girl, being dressed beautifully wearing lovely shoes. This photo shows great composition and makes us curious to meet this young lady.

  • This photograph really shows what a fun childhood is about! The photographer captured well these two kids having fun, laying in the sun. The umbrella brakes up the image nicely, giving it a backdrop, hiding anything that’s going on behind. Lovely texture and tonality makes us focus on what’s important. These two boys are the highlight of this photo. Well done!

  • They used to be friends like glue, then they parted ways, but they miss each other and the time together. It's a wonderful memory of a time more than 10 years ago. Thanks for the MOE!

  • Magnificent shadows rule this photograph! How shadows of the kids become more dominant than the actual people shown is very well captured in this image. Having a uniform background of sand to this, makes the observer focus on the kids. A wonderful capture this is!

  • Seeing many submissions to this Child Photo Competition which show children with smiling faces, this is what makes us appreciate this photo even more. Not only are the colours of the sunset superb, and the boy sitting on the wooden fence .. this image suggests, that the child might be facing into the distance. We can not really tell, since we see the silhouette of the child only, and no details of the face, nor the body. A great photo this is which takes our minds away into the distance.

  • A soulful image, full of emotions and tenderness. Wonderful, how this young person is lifting him/herself up, trying to get closer to the woman. Having the center of this capture not crowded, instead having empty space, makes this an even more attractive image. We love the expression which we get in this photo, its composition, as well as beautiful B&W post-production.

  • I was surprised how intensively my daughter could already communicate at the age of two months and how attentive she was. Everyone calls her Lucky Lucy because she is always friendly. Even her aunt in the picture has Lucy under her spell and she usually doesn't like children. Thx for the MOE!
