  • The I-Shot-It team would like to congratulate the winning photographer of this Flower competition, to such great submission! Composition, desaturated colours, as well as the chosen depth of field create a stunning image with a lovely story. Great timing, capturing the appearance of a butterfly, as well!

  • What great and unusual perspective, showing this tulip from straight above. This image has an abstractness to it, only giving away in a minimalistic way, that this is a flower with a leave. Well done to the photographer!

  • This is my most favourite photo! Shot from above with a black background using a NIKON D3400 with a standard 55mm lens and a UV filter. One of the first Flowers I ever photographed! Thanks so much! Melanie Mooers

  • Foremost it is the red and the green colours in this photo which suggest Christmas to us. The close up, different textures, as well as the high contrast make this an intriguing photograph to look at and to observe.

  • This is a great photo with a psychedelic color scheme happening. Only by the small leaves we can make out that this is a flower/plant.

  • The angle how the photographer chose to present this flower is unusual and beautiful. Having the dark red and green set against a black background gives beautiful depths to this image, with a touch of mystery. We also enjoy seeing the shiny little water drops on this flower.

  • Thank you! This was taken from home on a black backdrop using an overhead lamp. The Tulips had been out in the rain and were withering, giving way to a completely different perspective. This was shot using a Nikon D3400 with a MACRO lens on a standard 55mm lens. Melanie Mooers

  • Great composition and execution of this black and white photograph. The darkness and density seeding plants gives a feeling of being transported to a different planet.

  • In this image we get a lively and delightful feeling, and looking up to this blossoming tree, with its light background, underlines the lightness. Also the composition, which is slightly off-centered, works really well here.

  • Ian Gledhill...First, thank you so much for this mark of excellence, Soft dreamy spring cherry blossom of Japan and Asia. Taken in Northeast Thailand in the grounds of Khon Kaen University, love the leave adding eye-catching green in the bottom third of the image. Sony a6000 55 f4.5 200iso 400sec:
