OMG... that's insane! Thanks to the jury and Tim, for chosing my photo from this 1928 Ford Modell A Coupé Hot Rod as the winner photo and the first price. I'm Andi from Germany and i am an Automotive Photographer. This Photo was taken with a Canon EOS 5D3 and the 35mm 1.4L II. I think it was 4 or 5 shots.

Really nice piece of work and very well done. The position is very nice on this and the additional use of some interesting light sources really lift the image.

Thank you! A lot of effort went into this picture, and light panels were just a last minute addition that made all the difference. It was also a hell lot of fun during postprocessing. Of course, this one is only one pic from the whole series with this lovely Lotus 3-Eleven.

A very nice piece of 'dynamic' work on this shot. I am of the mind that this might be a composite using software of the motion but that is often the way and it takes great skill to be able to do that or shoot it in camera so it is a very well achieved piece of work.

A very different shot to what we normally see but thats great. Really nice piece of work and a great piece of lighting on this. Keeping it simple and that shadow work has really made this a stand out image

Dear Mr. Wallace, thank you for the kind words and the Mark of Excellence! This is a shot of my son Adam and his new ride. :) It was taken with a Canon 6D with a 24-105 f/4 lens. It was lit with 2 speedlites (one on the left side with a 120 cm octabox and one in the back with no modifier to get that sharp shadow on the floor). Editing was done in Lightroom and Photoshop.

Great shot here on what would have been a difficult car colour to shoot and light. I really like the idea of spilling light underneath the car to add to the drama, my only comment would be that it might have been improved with a little more light on the top of the car next time. Great work and a great image though.

Thank you very much for your words Tim. I shot the BMW M850i with my Nikon D800. Additionally I used several strobes to light the car out. I focused on the lights under the car to create more drama. Definitely not the classic way. :)

I have included this in the round because of the lighting on the actual car. That has been done really well and its a great shot. I think it would have been even better if it was a little more simplified with the removal of the items to the left of frame, sometimes keeping it simple works best. Very nice piece of work however and great lighting.

Thanks to the jury and Tim, for the Mark of Excellence. This 1967 Pontiac Tempest LeMans was shot with a Canon EOS 5D3 and the 35mm 1.4L II. I took several shots with flashlights mixed togehter with the available light of this cool Location to create this Scene. Thanks also for your Notes, Tim. I'll try it better next time! :)
