- This is so sweet but also so beautiful. Clever shallow depth of field and lovely light and color give this cheeky looking hamster a wonderful setting to peep at us from. Congratulations, your lengthy efforts have won you this prize!

- My name is Izabela Reich, I'm from Poland living in Germany. I'm a passionate photographer of wildlife nature, especially animals. It has always been my dream to watch field hamsters in their natural environment. Well, finally my dream came true and I shot this cute hamster back in 2018 in Austria. The camera was Nikon D810. Thank you very much for your choice and your friendly comments! Izabela

- An original subject which you have framed in a powerful empty scene which contrasts strongly with the fine detail of the crab itself, bringing us all the urgency of crab hole digging.

- Thank you for the Mark of Excellence, witch I'm very honored to receive :) My name is Vinni Bruhn, and I'm living in Denmark. The picture of the Brown bear was captured in Finland close to the Russian border. I was in one of the small hides, so I didn't get wet like the poor bear ;o) The picture was taken with a Canon EOS 1D IV, and a Canon 300 mm. f/2,8 - ISO 400, f/4,0, 1/320

- Beautiful and wild. Well done for this lovely capture. I am not sure whether this is a leopard or a jaguar but just look at that magnificent predator !

- Well this photo might put the shivers up your spine but that is partly why it is such a good shot. You certainly have caught a ferocious and blood thirsty portrait of this giant and fearsome otter, well done.

- Lovely black silhouettes for these stags in beautifully dark and heavy weather. I love the contrast and the composition. Striking photograph, well done.

- I realized this photograph last year in the highlands in Scotland. Deer are very present and not scared. The very present clouds allowed to bring a particular atmosphere to the photo. 70-200 f/2.8 non IS - canon 5d3

- Superb fast shot catching snake’s forked tongue in the midst of all that soft blur. No wonder you have used a long lens :-)
