- Hi Tim Thank you so much for the nice words. I really appreciate them and I am still very happy to have won this competition. There were so many good pictures and great artists. My name is Pascal (better known as phPics in the world wide web) and I am based in Switzerland. I shot the Mercedes AMG GT S with a Nikon D800 in combination with a Nikkor AF-S 24-70mm 2.8G ED. Furthermore I used a Manfrotto tripod and a Jinbei porty. In the summary there were several exposures which I had to put together in Photoshop. Then came many layers to create the final image.

- Thank you for this honor and for your kind words, Tim! I really appreciate it! My name is Andrei Michailov and I'm a photographer and creative director from Romania. This Talbot-Lago is a 1:18 scale model by CMC and it is part of my fine art photography project called OneBigSmallGarage. It is indeed a challenge to light and to photograph at this scale. This is a project that I love and, besides the legends of the automotive history, I want to showcase the fine art of model cars manufacturing. It was shot with a Fujifilm X-T20 and it is a one-shot only image post-processed in Photoshop.
