  • This photograph engages the observer for a long time. It shows different layers and we wonder how this image was captured. The air bubbles and the water create an unusual appearance, which makes the pink flower stand out. Congratulation to the winner!

  • What beautiful capture of this rose! It appears black and white first, but after looking at this image for a while, slowly a touch of colour comes to the surface. The chosen depths of field, the framing - as well as its composition, all adds to this superb photograph.

  • My name is Chihoko . Thank you so much choose my pic. I’m so honored. This picture titled...“Presence”〜message pic 〜-Before this life disappears-“ I named like this. Because I heard this rose voice when I took this pic.the roses said “Who am I blooming for?...?”If I can say ...“to You” ,Maybe.., I can bloom a little more.My name is just “a wild rose”...Please call me...”You”” So I left a little color. If my emotions and the roses emotions is conveyed....I’m very happy. Thank you so much again.

  • Movie-like, possibly a scene from a David Lynch film. The colours, which compliment each other so well here, form a vivid orange to a cool turquoise, it all adds to the mysterious atmosphere of this photo. This is definitely one our our highlights, which was submitted to this flower competition.

  • Hi, I'm Josip Miskovic. I'm Croatian but for a last five years i live in Italy. Thank you for a very pleasant and authentic comment! The Photo is part of a series (not yet finished) of flowers among the trees of a pine forest in Marina di Cecina, Tuscany - Italy For this photo i used Canon 760, Canon 50mm. Post processing was made with photoshop. I experimented with colors wanting to create a cinematic aspect and that is why the jury's comment was very relevant.

  • How this poppy flower was framed in the image, slightly off center, really does wonders here. The soft, faded-out background underlines the crisp and vivid flower nicely. What beautiful photo!

  • The contrast, a definition of the clouds in the sky, as well as rich colours make this a beautiful photo. The horizontal line which was chosen not quite going through the middle of the image give this capture a good focal point.

  • This photo suggests poetry, giving a feeling of being close to the beach. Simple with great execution, being taken out of its context of its environment. Lovely!

  • This is a great image of a flower with a bee in the background, slightly out of focus. We like the framing and its execution.

  • A playful balance between a soft faded-out background, as well as the pointy parts of this flower make this an intriguing photograph. Shades of purple with rich dark green make this a balanced photo with beautiful colours.
