  • The winner of this round, congratulations Superb and well thought out piece of work that really caught my attention. Great lighting and more so because it has not been over done, the shadows also really add to the drama. Lastly the position and space given was excellent Well done

  • Couldn't be more pleased with this shot and I'm blown away that it won first prize! My name is Thom Bateman and I'm an automotive photographer from the UK. The image was shot on a Canon 5D MkIII with a Tamron 24-70mm 2.8 lens. It was lit with a Godox AD600BM strobe using a small dish reflector and was a made from around 20 exposures blended together in Photoshop. I wanted to create some drama with a strong shadow so used the strobe on a high power to cancel out ambient light. Really pleased with how it turned out and thanks to Tim for the comments.

  • It is certainly different! I am guessing that this is less straight forward than a tracking shot but that shows a lot of skill and design has gone into creating this well done

  • Lovely open road shot, warm feel to it and plenty of dead space to not overcrowd the image. Great capture and well done

  • I wanted to include this as its very different to what we normally see entered here. It is overall a very eye catching shot and I am glad that the photographer has not cropped in too tight and given the subject some space

  • Well done Nice image, great lighting and light control and a good vision behind this one. I do feel that it would be a better shot if cropped tighter at the bottom but overall its a really nice piece of work.
