- Many thanks to all who voted for my picture! I am very happy about the Marc of Excellence! My name is Irina Sigl, I live in Bavaria in Germany. The photo was taken in the spectacular partnach gorge near Garmisch-Partenkirchen. In winter, there are often meter-high icicles and bizarre ice sculptures. I used a Nikon D300 and took a long exposure of 6 seconds. Basic processing in Lightroom and Photoshop.
