  • Congratulations Great image and I love its simplicity The overall shot is uncluttered and has a great impact to it. Good lighting and great use of the background, well processed and bright.

  • The hero of this picture is my Honda Civic Type-R FD2. It was a lovely, sunny day and we went out for some photos early morning shots - the best time of a day for photography. I liked it because of its simplicity and I managed to capture the car in a way I saw it that day. I'm happy, we both like the same things about this picture. Thank you for the first place!

  • Superb to see some non car related work coming through now in the comp. This is a wonderful image of an iconic aircraft, good colour and light on this and the dramatic sky adds to the feel, well done.

  • I was really drawn to this one, and I love the gritty overall feel that it has. The subjects chosen really match each other well and the decision to go black and white was a good one here i think. Framing is quite tight but that works too.

  • This has a real good feel to it, love the warmth of the colour from the fading light and the positioning is great too. The tree to the rear keeps drawing my eye away a little but not too much. Overall a really nice shot with a great feel to it. Well done

  • Such a different type of image and I really like this. The red of the car matching with the red on the back works really well and is a nice touch. Lighting on the subject it good and the overall feel works for this shot. Well done

  • So this is different for sure. Really like the brave view point of this and its always really nice to see completely different types of shots coming into the comp. Really well done on seeing and thinking to shoot this in this way and its a really good capture that has its power from being from such a different viewpoint.

  • Dominik Hanke: This Airbus 340 China Airlines is taxiing to terminal after landing at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport on distant runway called Polderbaan. The photograph taken under this angle seems as if the A340 is lost somewhere in the fields.

  • Its very commercial in its feel and the lighting on the overall car is really well done. The post edit work is really good and the overall addition of the light flare and the smoke adds to the drama, well great image.

  • Thanks a lot Tim. Appreciate your words. The Mercedes AMG GT S was shot in Switzerland. I used a Nikon D800, a Nikkor AF-S 24-70mm 2.8G ED, a Manfrotto tripod and a Jinbei Porty. And of course I had a lot of work in Photoshop to fit all the different exposures perfectly.

  • This is great, made me laugh and just had to be included in the final round up for this comp. Aside the fact that its a really fun image the actual technical side of this is very strong too and the lighting and post edit work is really good. Well done.

  • This photo motif belongs to a serial of a calender project, in which the real color names of the shown cars were visualized in a semantic way: Here the finish-name: "wild green" for Land Rover. It was taken with an analog Hasselblad medium size on negative in a rotten amusement park in East Berlin, a sad relict from "DDR" times.

  • Its a pretty straight image with no great amount of lighting or post edit however its a winner in my view based on the content. I really love this shot and its a great capture of a wonderful car in its aged state. If I could suggest anything it might have been to come a little closer and crop out the background a little more, maybe even shoot a little lower. Great image and well done!

  • The Photo was taken with an analog Hasselblad medium size camera on negativ! A chummy historic car dealer allowed me to take some shots from his burnt cars; after an accident what had happend two days before shooting. The dealer has a huge collection of 60 year-old cars, which he collected in his garden and let them rot since 60 years.
