  • Thank you Illona! This was candid shot that I took while I was wandering through the Krakow city in Poland. The cat was guarding the street with his penetrating eyes. Nikon D5000 + 18-55 lens was involved in the shot.

  • This image is fabulous in its framing and the wonderful curved lines created by the cat's turned head and its tail. It also offers a wonderful variety of textures, from the cat's striped coat and whiskers, the rock on which he is perched, and the surrounding greenery. Nicely done! ~ illona

  • Thank you so much for this award. It makes me proud to read your comment. My name is Beate and i am an amateur photographer based in germany. I took this picture of my cat in our garden. And in this moment he was sitting perfectly on the little rock. I used my canon 6d with the lens 16-35mm.

  • This is such a memorable image of an absolutely sweet Sphinx. Strong centered framing, but I almost wonder if a vertical framing (in camera) would have made a stronger composition, showing more of the unique lightbulb which has captivated the cat's attention. But a wonderful image. Nicely done. ~ illona
