  • A picture that is so interesting to look at. It is almost like in a dream. Many details and shapes that repeat again and again. It seems like an unobserved moment. The child does not recognize the photographer and is completely in his own little world. The perspective is also unusual and makes this photo outstanding! Congratulations to the winner of this I-Shot-it child competition!!

  • Thanks for selecting my photo for a Mark of Excellence! My name is Alan Gambrell and I'm an amateur photography enthusiast living in Plant City, Florida. My grandnieces were visiting their grandfather, my brother, and taken turns playing the drum set in his living room. I was focused on taking pictures of them playing the drums when I turned to see Eliza patiently waiting her turn and absent-mindedly playing with the small skeleton my brother has hanging from a microphone stand. I immediately snapped the picture with my Canon 50mm f/1.4. I processed it in Capture One and thought it would look great as a black and white.

  • A beautiful black and white photography of a cool racer. The execution/ post production is great and it is well composed! Interesting is also the modern building in the background that supports the modern look.

  • I appreciate the recognition for this photo! I'm Kevin Van Sant, pro jazz guitarist, amateur photographer. This is one of my favorite captures of my 3yo son (who happens to be my primary subject) on his pedal car at one of our favorite parks. I think of it like wildlife photography, especially when using manual focus lenses such as this was it is a challenge to get a shot that succeeds AND is in focus! Sony a6000 with Rokinon 12mm. Probably f4). Converted to B@W in photoshop.

  • A situation that is funny and somehow powerful and almost aggressive at the same time. Both children fix the photographer with their eyes but in different ways. Interesting to look at. Well captured!

  • A situation of our times. Could be a modern bedtime story. The reduction and the simpleness strikes. The light in his face and the complete dark background underlines the story in this picture. Really well done!
