  • Here is a great reflection, lovely warm colours, strong lead lines and plenty going on to look at. We are in the busy city, you have caught the atmosphere very nicely. It is always tempting to turn a reflection upside down but don't you think this is better the right way round?…

  • I had intended to have the reflected image as the main subject, and thus, the framing and perspective were taken in consideration to give it a natural perspective - looking upwards through a glass-like surface with abstract figures populating the colourful background, while still maintaining an almost surreal quality. The idea of this shot is to have the beauty of the "by-product" of it's physical counterparts appreciated in it's own right. ____________________________________________________________________________ Photo by Ivan Lee from Singapore. The series provides a glimpse into the world that "exists" and is hidden right under our noses.

  • Another great shot with a story and lots of nice colour in the leaves but also, and ironically, in the litter too. You have made a clever composition out of a messy street puddle, you came close, well done.

  • I love the rubber boots giving us an observer’s perspective. They strengthen the composition and give us a weather update. Nice soft tones and colours and clever framing. Well done.

  • Beautiful, fun and simple. Such a cute face in the dreamy world of a glass of water, the child’s expression blends so well with the composition. This was an instant favourite.

  • I love the dreamy feel here and the empty, clear sky making a strong reflection. The foreground fence brings a sense of freedom to this evening walk and more strong lines to the composition. Nice work.

  • This is a nice busy shot with a real feel of the rush hour in public transport. It takes a sharp eye to find a photo like this one. The monochrome works well here, as does the upside down effect. Well done.

  • Lovely strong colours and contrast and an original angle on this wind turbine. You have made a very graphic image and have given a nice abstract and imaginative feel to this very metal piece of machinery. Well done, it is a common subject these days but you have taken it right out of the box.

  • This is a lovely swirly reflection drawing us in to look at the face in the middle. You have created an eye-holding effect, so importat in good photography. The shapes of the bridge contrast nicely with the branches of the trees, the black and white adding to that.
