- This image was captured last summer using my Nikon D300 with the Tamron Sp 70-300mm VC and a set of macro extension tubes. I had 4 different coloured sheets of paper as background and an off camera flash pointing and firing at them, causing the coloured reflection. For the drops I used an old microphone stand from which I hung a plastic bag with water in it. I pierced the bag with a needle causing the water to drip at a constant interval, thus allowing me to anticipate when I should press the shutter. It was fun but I took so many shots before I got a few that I was happy with.

- Hello and thank you for your votes. As I am a non-professional I am more than honored by this mark of excellence ! This picture was taken during a easter monday on a french garden (previous garden of french king Louis the fourteenth -Louis XIV) but it is just a detail. What I like with this picture is that the monk looks like another tree. As if he was breaking the rules, getting out of the line, showing that things has to change for him. Obviously for me there is nothing religious here. The pictures is taken with a Canon G1x ii. Thanks again !! Cheese :-)

- Thank you so much for the votes and the Mark of Excellence! My name is Nicki Lautemann and I live in Colorado, USA. My favorite subject is water and I took this shot at my kitchen sink. The background is wrapping paper...The bolder the better with shots like this, so it's a little subdued. I used my Nikon D5300 with a 50mm lens in reverse. That's my favorite way to do these shots! And I must confess, they're my weakness and what I do for fun. lol. Thanks again! I'm honored!!
