  • Thank you all for your votes! I like to spend a lot of time at the river near my house photographing these common yet beautiful ducks. This was shot in the early evening, it was freezing & the river was frozen. The ducks are starting to chase after the females so lots of chances to try and get flight shots. I love this one because it shows the shiny sapphire blue on the wing. This was shot using a Canon 7D and Canon 100-400L lens. www.flickr.com/photos/orcaholic2001/

        • I want to thank everyone for your Votes. This shot of the Virginia Beach Fishing Pier was taken in 2007,at Sunrise. Canon Rebel XT and a Canon EF-S 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 IS Lens at 18mm. f/4.5 , 1/500sec , ISO-100. Processed in Adobe Lightroom 4 , Adobe Camera RAW and Photoshop CS5.

        • Thank you for voting for my photo! This is my pup Dug lounging in our backyard on a warm afternoon. We rescued dug about two years. He was very timid and showed signs of abuse .         • My Name is Stefan Andreas Kreutschmann, and I am a pro photographer since 1986. I started with my first payed photo projects 1979 when I was 17 as a ballett photographer. Some technical Information for my "Matchstick men" series: My still preffered studio camera is my Nikon D2X, the used lens was a manual focus Micro Nikkor 55mm 2.8. I was inspired by Pink Floyd's Song "Wish You were Here". This photograph is one shot of my "Matchstick men" series. This picture has No Post processing or any Kind of Manipulation excepting a Light correction of the White Balance and sharpnes.
