- Hi my name is Grace Darnell. This was the first equine image that I took in a serious much larger. The black horse with the black background however really made the image emotional and the black horse pop. This image was taken at Great Scott Farm in Chester County, PA. I used a Canon 5D Mark III and a 70-200 f/2.8L II. Very little post processing was done to this image, just added a bit of contrast and cloned out some dirt.

- My name is Grace Darnell and this image was taken out on the back roads of Tonto National Forest. If was shot with a Canon 5D Mark III and 17-40mm f/4. Night sky's are very difficult to processes, I really felt like I was creating this from scratch!

- Hello, My name is Douglas Berry. I'm a meteorologist who enjoys photography as one of my favorite hobbies. I took this photo during my honeymoon in Hawaii. My Rebel Xti died the day before I took this picture. I had just a few hours to get use to my new Rebel T3i with a Canon 10-22mm lens. Some processing was done in CS5 with saturation, contrast and cropping. Currently making a webpage to post more of my work. Thanks for the Mark!

- Hi everyone and thanks for voting for my photo! My name is Dennis M., from New Jersey. I used my brand new Nikon D3200 to get this shot of the fog on a cold rainy Monday afternoon outside of Fort Dix, NJ. I used to pass this area everyday for 6 years and was only recently back and it caught my eye . . . I hope that my future submissions will be enoyed by all, even if they do not win the contest for the competition is real tough! The winner's photo is beautiful!

- My name is Suzanne Stout. I captured this image of "Mabry Mill" in 2011 with my Canon EOS Rebel Xsi while enjoying a scenic autumn drive with my husband. Mabry Mill is located in Meadows of Dan, Virginia along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Post-processing enhancement involved tweaking the saturation to remove a slight haze and add vibrance.
