  • WOW, Thank you! I am SO very honored! I am Emily Fisk from Southern California and this photo was taken in the field behind our backyard of my pup Brooklyn. She is a true hunter at heart and this is the look I get whenever she is alerted to something in the brush. It was a drizzly and foggy day when this was taken. The only editing to this photos was some sharpening and noise reduction. Taken the first day I got my new Canon 5D Mark 3

  • Thank you! This is very exciting! I was trying to recreate a particular look in my temporary studio in the garage when I got this shot. It is not what I was aiming for but it caught my eye. I was using my 50D, 100mm lens, and off camera canon flashes and processed using Lightroom and PS Elements. I do pet photography based out of Squamish, BC, Canada.

  • Thank you! My name is Dina Barta. I am from Nebraska and this photo is of my dog's (Marco) best girl Parker. I shot it with a Nikon D5000 using a 70-200 zoom lense. I had to get out in the water to get the shot and since it was a cold fall day....it was a bit of a challenge. I used Picasa to edit...cropping, a bump in color, and some sharpening.

This was taken with a Canon 5D Mark 3. Post processing consists of some sharpening and with some added contrast. Thank you So much!!

  • My name is Etienne Edberg and I live in south Sweden. This photograph is from the Danube Delta, Romania, last September. We went ashore for a picnic lunch and several dogs appeared hoping for leftovers. This mongrel, probably belonging to nobody, was considered by my fellow travellers to be very ugly and unkept. But backlit against a dark background the impression was entirely different. I used a Leica V-lux 2.
