- Thank you for your votes! I am Alexey Pronin, live in Miami, Florida. In May of 2011 I attended a tour exploring Lake Powell, Utah (http://www.dynamicphotoworkshops.com). This scene was photographed at sunset in Labyrinth Bay. I took this picture with a Sony A850 DSLR camera and an 24/2.8 Minolta lens. Later I decided to give this photo a vintage "Wild West" look using a sepia filter in Photoshop CS5; only the color of rocks was left natural. You can visit my website for more images.

- Thanks! Ivins, UT, USA, in March 2008, when I was just learning the basics. Sometimes nature just provides. Nikon D70s with Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G. The original wasnt all that spectacular, but cranking up saturation and contrast on Photoshop CS4 did it justice. - Thanks. I was experimenting with my new wide angle lens and a little tonemapping. The sky was interesting and the color of the soybean field fit in there well. I just got back into photography after a 30 year hiatus. Loving it with my Nikon D7000. Laura Sebewaing, Michigan

- My name is Fraida and this picture was taken on the Venice Beach boardwalk with a Nikon D7000. This young musician was strolling by the graffiti wall and was very captivated by the image. Minor post processing was made with Picassa. Thank you so much for recognizing my picture in this category.

- Thanks for the votes!! This was taken with a Canon T2i stationed in front of a small dish of water beneath a dropper. The droplets passed through a laser beam connected to the flash before they hit the water. I could time it so the flash would trigger as the drop hit the water. I could control the frequency of drops and the delay of the flash, so I was able to capture the exact millisecond I wanted. So, what I'm trying to say is, this isn't a stroke-of-luck photograph!
