- My names Cliff F. I live in Tennessee and I took this shot while on Vacation in Maine. It was early in the morning at low tide. I shoot with a canon 60d with a 16-35mm lens I converted it to B&W in PS. E10 and adjusted the contrast . Thanks for the votes This was my first photo competition and I'm surprised that I won with all the other great photos in the competition.

- Phil Koch Milwaukee, Wisconsin Title of Photo " There Came a Wind" Shot in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as a storm front approached in the spring of 2012. Canon 7d with 17-55mm 2.8 lens. HDR. This is only one of 600 Horizons I have taken over the last two years, one a day, the series taken all in vertical.

- Hi, my name is Rhonda Mullen, I would like to thank all of you that voted for my photo! As I was driving around one day looking for something to shoot, I found this farm. They had 2 of everything! This Zebra seemed content to just stand there and stare me down! Not to be outdone I shot a lot photos of him! I took this with a Canon EOS Rebel T3i and all I have done post camera is the tight crop! Again, Thank You!

- This photo was taken at Graceland Cemetery in Chicago, Illinois. I am an amateur cemetery photographer who also works in cemetery restoration. I appreciate all the votes and hope to keep entering competitions in order to pursue my passion. thank you for allowing me to enter. I used editing software to add the details, Corel Photoshop. I also used a basic Sony point and shoot camera for this with no special lenses.

- My name is Kelly Makaravage and i live in Van Zandt, WA. I took this photo of a friend's 5 year old daughter in a field by our house just before the sun was about to set behind the mountains. I used my sony a550 and a reflector disc to put light on my subject. Not much for post processing other than a little rotation, some brightening, and a touch of sharpening.... i am so excited to win another Mark of Excellence...thank you so much for all the votes!
