    • This is one of my favorites. We had taken a day trip up to Mt. Rainier,WA., it was a really cloudy day, and thought we would not see much, but about half way up the mountain the clouds opened up to beautiful vistas. One turn in the road and we saw this, where all the lower clouds were in place and all the mountain tops peeking above. Using my Olympus E500 I had to fight sun glare, my hubby finally stood over me with an umbrella and I was able to get several wonderful shots. Patty Hannaman

    • My name is Christopher W Adach and in first place I am product and interior designer. My adventure with photography begun one year ago. I use Nikon D700, which gives me lot of flexibility and fun. For me photography is a great plesure. This picture was taken in Marsden Moor in Yorkshire where I live. It was really unexpected trip I did not expected too much, but eventualy, sunset was really stuning that day. Thanks for awarding my photo in such significant competition.

          • I am wildlife photographer Elizabeth Yureklier DiRosa. This is the time of year to find the Tricolor Heron; this juvenile is cooling himself off on a hot summer-day. The mature tricolor heron is often seen stalking its prey in shallow or deeper water, often running as it does so though the wetlands. The juveniles are the funniest of the herons to watch and photograph. (His smile was taken with my old Sony alpha.)

          • My name is Kim Holman from Gettysburg PA. I take my camera everywhere with me and on my way to work one day the fog had covered this field. The little calf seems to be hiding in it. I took the picture with my Nikon D5100 1/2000, F/22. Thank you for all of the votes!
