Here is a beautifully constructed natural landscape photograph. The square format is bold and adds to the appeal, the composition carefully balanced. The foreground closes the frame nicely, creates those important lines and pushes the eye towards that lovely soft sunlight on the mountain. It is a pleasant picture to admire, easy on the eye, the weight of those layers are just spot on, so simply arranged. There is plenty detail but at the same time the whole is almost minimal. I can’t imagine your excitement when the vulture flew into the frame, perhaps you even adjusted the shutter speed to freeze its passage. Truly wonderful work, well done you scoop the prize!

Thank you very much for this selection, indeed, a dozen vultures flew over my head and even if the initial idea was to capture the last lights of the day, the repeated passages of the vultures made me change composition and light .
