This is a wonderfully intimate and brilliant closeup image. The details of the manicured mane and its contrast against the horse's hair, including the brush marks, allow the viewer's eye to travel across the image to take in all of the textures ... and it is almost a though we could reach out and lay our hand on this horse's warm neck and smell its sweet scent.
