This is a cleverly divided composition with sharp and contrasting shapes separating the place of work from that of home. Neither escapes the pink tinted rinse from above, you have caught that so well. Very nice clean shot and a front runner here.

Thank you for choosing my photo for a mark of excellence. My name is Jeff Szucsik and I am an amateur photographer based in Canada. I was driving home from work and I had never taken a picture of Edmonton’s skyline from this vantage point. So I climbed up a snowy hill in a park to get the best results. It was very cold and windy so I couldn’t stay long. My fingers and ears were starting to freeze. But I managed to capture the rich golden hues from the setting sun. Thank you for this honour.
