This image was taken at sunrise in Teton National Park in early October about six years ago in a location that I return to every time I visit. Shot from a tripod set up in the stream with my Pentax gear.
Because it was early October, the bull elk were bugling in the the forest for the hour that it took me to hike in. But the most exciting thing was to hear wolves howling in the distance. It was spellbinding and a little spooky.
Post processed to adjust contrast, color and removal of a few spots on the sensor.
