City Competition 5 2018 - all cities! : Entry Number 53

At first this image is simple and graphic with nice lines, composition and tones. It is easy and pleasant to look at, the shapes of its different parts all slotting together perfectly around the cut-out contour of the rooftops. But then there is a story of renewal and of a bright future as promised by the colored crane, the only real color in this photograph apart from the rainbow of course, rising up against a heavy sky, trying to peep over the buildings like a message from nature competing for attention. Great shot of several dimensions, you win this round!
