The Acorn weevil (Curculio glandium) has a size of 4 to 7,5 millimeter and is easily recognizable by his long snout and antennae.
This one was showcasing a little dance on a dried leaf´s tip before turning around and taking off.
It is impressive how many beautiful details we can discover when we look at things that we normally ignore or bypass. There is a whole different world existing at ground level that can simply has to amaze us when you have the opportunity to see little creatures in all their beauty through a macrolens.
