The idea to include the woman in the image was good since it sends the viewers eye in the direction of the main compositional vectors. The composition works well since she is out of focus and fades into shadow and provides more of a start and end for the eye rather than being a center of attention. The image is well executed technically. Nice job!

Thank you very much! I am very happy for receiving the Award. The photo was taken with a Panasonic LUMIX GF1 / 20mm Pancake in Rome, May 2010. It was edited in Lightroom. What you can see here is the Forum Romanum with the views of the Colosseum. The view was astonishing by seeing so many different architectures lying in front. It was a beautiful sunny day.
