The angle of view which shows the curving path of the river has the drawn feel of an old- world map. Light dabbling through the clouds adds further intrigue. The visual line made from the white roofed building (lower right side) over the bridge to the lit patch of buildings plays well with the winding river and line of clouds in the composition.
