The creative approach to this image must be admired, though it is a bit creepy, and the large amount of shadow and dark tones used help the effect. Interestingly the grabbing hand is the light part and the tram the dark which is an interesting role reversal.

My name Stefan Scherf and I'm a photographer living in Wuppertal, Germany. The picture is titled "Catch the train" and it's a part of my longtime project HOMETOWN. What you see is a hand grabbing a train of the "Wuppertaler Schwebebahn", the famous suspension railway here in Wuppertal. I used an Olympus OM-D E-M5 with M.ZUIKO 17mm at f/1.8, ISO1600.
