Reflections Photo Competition 2017 : Entry Number 159

High rise city living…Apart from the nice lines, shapes and tones of this photograph there are all those reflections. The surrounding and reflecting glass shows us the outside city and frames the lone figure inside his lit-up apartment with a nice effect of the inside.

Thanks for the honor of the Mark of Excellence. This photo was taken from my niece's 15th floor apartment in Chicago during twilight. I noticed what appeared to be a young boy dancing in the apartment building across from my niece's. The warm light in the apartment contrasted nicely with the cold blue reflections. Camera was an Olympus OMD EM 10 MkII with Olympus 75mm lens shot at f3.5, 1/8sec, ISO 200. Post processing in Lightroom and Photoshop primarily consisting of sharpening and color grading via MacPhun Intensity and Alien Skin Exposure X.
