Photo Name: Splashing Tail
My name is Daniel and I live in London. I am 13 years old and I first found an interest in photography when I was 10. My first camera was Leica and I used it in Kenya to shoot wildlife.
These black birds like to wash in the afternoon, sometimes in groups of three or four. In this photo, I used a slow shutter speed to stretch out the water droplets. This made them appear like sparks or fireworks! I used a Canon 1DX camera and a Gitzo GT4552GTS tripod. The settings were F2.8, 1/200s, lens 70-200@200mm and ISO 320.
