Mystery, history and more meet in this amazing photograph where there are few, but yet many, elements to take in. Very well done!

The image of a young boy watching an Egyptian mummy where taken at the museum Glyptoteket in Copenhagen. When Egypt became part of the Roman Empire, many Romans moved to the new province. Some of them became so integrated in the Egyptian culture that they had their dead embalmed. They did however not use the traditional Egyptian mummy mask, but had instead their portrait painted in the style of Roman naturalism.
