Lovely piece of detail work and lighting. Few people realise how difficult lighting these types of shots can be until they attempt it. The lighting on this is really well thought out and the light clusters of cars are some of the hardest area's to capture well so very well done. All the very best in 2017!

Dear Tim, thank you for the accolades and the comments on my image. I am Maryna Cotton from South Africa. This "carporn" image was shot with Nikon D800, 50mm 1.4 at f16 125s 200ISO and lit with a speedlight which was double diffused to create a soft light source. I like using this lighting technique because of the control I have over which parts are lit as well as the reflections in the paintwork and light clusters.
