This is just a fantastic image. The framing is wonderful, the tones and white-balance are just perfect, and the high angle is fabulous. The rich contrast of textures from the smooth water, gentle ripples, the water breaking against the pier and the lichen-covered concrete all allow the viewer's eye to travel throughout the image, but always come back to the dog staring into the water.
