Flower Photo Competition 4 2016 : Entry Number 247

Rebecca Kempton Greytown, New Zealand Canon 7D with 50mm 1.8mm lens I had picked this lily from our garden and played with different light to capture its simple form. I held it up to the setting sun with one hand and camera in the other hand. I loved how it lit the sillouette and how the dark shadow filled the front and the bright light shone through the outer edges. I used Lightroom to convert it to black and white and increased the contrast of the blacks and white.
