A moment in time. We like how we are brought to another time that is not ours in place that is not ours, yet it feels so familiar.

Thank you judges! This photo was taken during the 1992 Race Riots in South Central Los Angeles. I was a student at USC at the time and living on campus. During the riots, I (stupidly) went out on my Jeep Wrangler (you can see the spare tire at the lower left corner of the photo) with my Nikon FM2 and a roll of Kodak TMax. I recently discovered the old negatives and had them digitally scanned. I was pleasantly surprised by many of the images I caught that day and wanted to share them with fellow photography enthusiasts.
