the choice to present this photo in black and white makes for a simpler, cleaner image, allowing the subject to truly stand out. the only distraction in this image is the cloth or whatever it is that is hanging under the sink ... the viewer's eye can tend to stray from the subject to that cloth. otherwise, this is a strong image, with clean whites and bold lines. nicely done. ~ illona

My name is Joel Hohner. I walked in to my bathroom and discovered my cat, Max, was already there! So I grabbed the nearest camera to hand and shot before he had a chance to move. The camera used here was a Canon 450D with an 18-55 kit lens on it. Post processing is PS CS 5 with Silver Efex Pro II. I normally shoot film so I used that to try to emulate the look of my film shots as nearly as I could.
