Flower Photo Competition 1 2014 : Entry Number 35

Very original, how this flower bends its pedals. It seems to be a tulip, with not much time left. And exactly because of this element, it makes this photo more interesting and different.

I am very pleased with this Mark of Excellence. Flowers are one of my favorite subjects to photograph. This is a tulip almost to the end of its bloom. I find tulips become more visually interesting and beautiful at the end. I used my Nikon D3100, f/5.6, 200, 1/500, 55-200mm zoom. My name is Cindy Viol and I live in Oklahoma City.
