Food Photo Competition 2013 No 3 : Entry Number 91

Here is food at its best, the centre of attraction, being eagerly shared amongst friends and making a joyful social occasion ( in the French evening sun?)... The high angle makes this a real life experience, the action in all those hands make me hungry, I want some, and mmm is that a Burgundy? The composition is clever with no wasted space, the picture is busy but not cluttered, it is refreshing and amusing, an everyday experience we have all enjoyed. Thank you for the award and for the comment you made on the photo. This picture was taken this summer in Toulouse (France) from the top of a building. There was a restaurant with this nice table directly below and I took the picture. The camera used is a Canon 5d mk2 and the lens is a zoom 70-300 at 300mm. Merci beaucoup !
