The star of this shot is not the egret so much as its dangerous choice of perch.

Thank you,This photograph was taken in one of my favorite photography locations in florida. It has taken seven years of studying this area to get photos like this one. I go here seasonally to catch certain stages of Heron and Egret nesting periods. My eye caught this Chinese Egret resting fearlessly while waiting for gator left overs.
