Dear Jury I am very honored and grateful that you chose out of these hundreds of very beautiful and stunning pictures my picture. Also congratulation to the winner, you really deserve the price. The picture was shot with the NIKON D800 & Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8G ED during a Greg Gorman portrait & nude workshop in an old Villa close to Rome. The conversion to B&W was done with a PS workflow Greg provided to us as well as my own adjustments. Photography is not my profession (even if I would love to do so) but my passion. My name is Peter Mueller and I live close to Frankfurt Germany but travel a lot across the world. I do people and landscape photography. Starting with a Voigtländer Vito B in 1975, still developing B&W in my darkroom, I work today with 2 Nikons and the Leica M9-P and M for Street- and People Photography.
