This image reminds us of a Finnish movie. You don't know if you should laugh or cry. A new beginning and an end meet in the same image. No matter the conditions it is an unusual image, and we like it.

This was shot at my brothers wedding, the ceremony was held in the hospital chapel. The father of the Bride was put in the bed that morning after his condition had deteriorated rapidly over the previous few days, he died about 3 weeks later. My brother and his wife had just returned from a holiday in Fiji where they had hoped to get married the following year. Shot on a 5Dmk3 with 24-70mm f2.8Lmk2, lit from the far right with a bounced Ranger Quadra flash.
